During March there will be two major video games being released: “Mass Effect 3” and “Mario Party 9.” “Mass Effect 3” was released on March 6 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. This game is rated M for mature and also is expected to have a really good four player co-op.
“Mario Party 9” was released March 11 and only for the Wii because “Mario” is a trademark Nintendo game. “MP9” still has the classic four player co-op and a whole bunch of new mini games. This game is rated E for everyone.
In “Mass Effect 3” the Reapers, an ancient alien race, is trying to take over the whole galaxy and it’s up to the players and their team to try and stop them. The player continues to play the main role as Commander Shepherd. Earth has already been taken and now players have to decide which planets they are going to save or allow to become extinct or taken over by the Reapers.
In “Mario Party 9” players do what else - collect stars to become the Mario Party champion and to win bragging rights over friends and family. They’re going to keep the classic characters like Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Peach as the good guys and keep Bowser as the evil villain trying to wreck the whole game. It’s expected to have six new big maps and over 100 new mini games to add to the excitement.
